Twitch Co-founder Emmett Shear has introduced he’s stepping down as CEO of the live-streaming platform.
It has been revealed that Dan Clancy, Twitch’s present President, will develop into the platform’s new CEO, efficient instantly. Shear will nonetheless work for Twitch, albeit in an advisory function.
Shear’s announcement was revealed on a Twitch blog post, with the founder stating that the beginning of his son was a think about his choice to step down.

Clancy joined Twitch in 2019 and has been answerable for the streaming platform’s product improvement since he began.
