Fnatic vs Evil Geniuses
Fnatic and Evil Geniuses are quite evenly matched if you look at the recent forms of both teams. Fnatic is on a three-game losing streak while Evil Geniuses have lost three of their last four matches. Fnatic has lost to OG, Virtus.Pro and MIBR. While EG have been beaten by G2 Astralis and complexity. It is a tough call to predict which team will come out on top. But we give the edge to Fnatic. Since before these series of defeats the team did beat OG, Cloud9 and complexity.
While Evil Geniuses has continued to lose to the likes of Fun Plus Phoenix, G2 and BIG. It is a tough job to differentiate the team based on these facts but the statistics don’t lie and overall Fnatic is the stronger team heading into this match. It will be great for Fnatic to get back to its winning ways. Fnatic have lost the last three encounters against EG and this streak is likely to end after the series.
Prediction: Fnatic 2-0 Evil Geniuses
Virtus.Pro vs Astralis
Virtus.Pto is on a hot streak as they have won five out of the six games played. It also includes a 2-1 victory against their upcoming opponents, Astralis. Meanwhile, as we mentioned, Astralis are finding wins hard to come by with defeat to the likes of Team Spirit. VP is the much stronger team as they also beat Team Liquid, Vitality and Ninjas In Pyjamas. Yet you can never completely underestimate Astralis.
This might be the most entertaining series of this competition so far and we are just siding with VP since the Russians seem unstoppable at the moment. However, there’s always a chance that Astalis comes out on top.
Prediction: Virtus.Pro 0-2 Astralis
Endpoint vs Team Liquid
Team Liquid could have been labelled as the solid winner of this encounter, yet their most recent defeat to Pain raises some questions. Since they will be taking on an Endpoint team with a five-game win streak. However we believe that Team Liquid competitive experience should be enough to get the team a win in the ESL Pro League Season 13 and should see off Endpoint with ease.
